A textile machine used to stitch fabric, cards and other material with thread. Well-selected sewing machine is essential for achieving good results. It should be used correctly according to the job requirements.
Sewing Machines are 2 types. They are- Manually operated machine & Automatic Sewing Machine

Lock Stitch Sewing Machine: This is usually used in homes and sometimes it is used for only training purpose. It is also called “Domestic Sewing Machine”. It is run by foot and may also be converted to electrical power machine.

Hi Speed Lock Stitch Sewing Machine: This is sometimes called “Straight Stitching Machine” or Industrial sewing machine. It has automatic lubrication and used by tailors and dressmakers or industrial use.

Over lock machine (3 threads/4 threads and 5 threads): It is used for sewing edge or to join two or more fabric pieces by five or more threads. Usually this machine will cut the edges of the cloth as they are fed though some are made without machine cutters.
